The Field Training Divison help guide and train newly deputies within the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. All newly deputies are required to spend 30 minutes to a hour to conduct a basic training of knowledge, quiz and training.
Becoming a FTO also requires basic knowledge. As any of the MFTO (Master Field Training Officer) Can give you proper understanding and knowledge for the requires.

Drill & Ceremony - Falls under Professional Standards and uniform correction guidelines. This is a divison based in irl and their main focus on the outstand deputies to their finest progress. They are mainly seen in parades, recuitment and/or awards ceremonies.
