Mr. Dparnell617.
Patrol unit & SOB tac medic.
I Started my service on March 22 and that’s where my journey begin as a deputy.
My Start as a deputy was rough due to getting black listed from AI.
The next day I was devastated to waking up to the notification. I decided to appeal it and give it my all in this department.
I did that and got accepted again I made it through the through deputy sheriff 1 which felt like the easiest for promotions. Deputy Sherrif 2 was a little harder to rank up still wasn’t a problem when I hit senior deputy sheriff the sergeant exam felt hard and made
Me nervous but passed still. sergeant felt same like deputy sheriff 2 easy but looks hard to get senior sergeant but hit it with no problem.I got a devastating infraction, 2 demotions which almost made me quit but I’m still here and credits to Emilo, Nooby and Jonathan for not making me quit. As of right now I am a senior deputy sheriff climbing my way back up to supervisor.
The good parts of my Journey is ranking up in USMS, Ranking up in the main department and overall just being in the department brings joy to me. My Favorite parts of LASD is being with all of the deputies and other friends on Sunday waiting for promotions.
Another one of my Favorite parts of LASD is Making a lot of friends on the way like Jonathan, Nooby, Fou Fou, Curly, Li3, Lmaster, Emilo, Mount, Tapout, Zay, Justin and Cambam.
My favorite moment of LASD ever in my opinion is Being in a vc patrolling with people on SEB and laughing waiting for calls.

On January 11th of 2026 I first joined the Los Angeles Sheriffs Office.
When entering the Probationary Deputy Program I met great people and friends my first ever friend in CSRP "too_curiouscurly" he was my Training officer and friend we went through everything together. I stayed loyal to the department for 1-2 months before formally retiring as a Senior Sergeant. When I retired I went to CHP as an Officer and climbed the ranks becoming a Major before retiring after 5 months. I decided and told myself that I missed where I started and decided to go back to the Los Angeles Sheriffs Office and meet everyone and say to all my old friends.
After coming back I reinstated as a Deputy 2 and was recently promoted to Senior Deputy I currently now work for the Special Enforcement Detail (SEB) and Traffic Services Detail (TSD) I told myself that I will be focused on becoming something bigger and better then myself here.
Signed.

I was first introduced to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department by Curious_Curly on December 24th 2025.
I then applied to LASD that day and got accepted about 30 minutes later.
Over my Probationary Period I passed the Required Training hosted by Curious_Curly and then also did my Ride Along.
I was now in the department as a Whitelisted Member. I went through the rank's of Deputy Sheriff I and II and Senior Deputy. I was now a Sergeant within the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department as of February 1st, 2026. Also on February 1st I received the Silver Meritorious Conduct Medal. On February 14th, 2026 I retired from my role as Patrol Sergeant. On February 21st, 2026 I ended up reinstating within the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff II. I worked my way up back to Sergeant on March 8th, 2026. I then worked my way up to Senior Sergeant. Then a demotion came to Senior Deputy which broke me, Made me think negatively, It was devasting to me. Then April 4th, 2026, The date of my second retirement, 1 day Later I received the Gold Meritorious Conduct Medal. I then joined LASD and retired much more which brings us to May 28th, 2026, where I reinstated as a Probationary Deputy. I did my required Ride-Along and passed and am currently at Deputy Sheriff II. Throughout my time here at LASD I've met some awesome people, Vince, Curly, Storm, Fluffy, and so many more. I am currently working my way back up to Supervisor.
I have learned a lot within my Journey here at LASD. Never give up, Always Stay Positive no matter the circumstances, Always look at the good side of things.
Some of my favorite memories here at LASD is meeting all my friends, Dparnell, Curly, CJ, Storm, Nukey, Justin, Foufou, Zay and so many others.
Another one is patrolling with USMS, Driving around having fun but while also Protecting California.
